I have lived and worked in the Cotswolds for many years, having moved there from my childhood home county of Kent. I write for adults and children; along with historical articles and radio.
I was short listed for the 2017 Mearns Writers Short Story Competition ‘New Beginnings’with my story ‘Letting go.
My radio play ’Saint Valentine’ was broadcast on Swindon 105.5 Radio on 14th February 2017.
I gained an upper second-class degree (with Hons.) in English and American Literature from Kent University in Canterbury. My love of literature and language led me first, into a teaching career and now into writing and private tutoring.
“My passion for reading and writing to help educate and entertain both young and old is what drives me. These things, above others, bring people together.”
I decided to write ‘School for Scoundrels’ to try and encourage boys to read more. Remembering how much I loved adventure books as a child, I am certain that girls will enjoy ‘School for Scoundrels’ as well.
