A wordsmith at heart, after my return to North Carolina, I decided to try my hand at novels and short stories. Three of my historical fiction tales “The Powder Monkey of Cape Fear”, “Gaston’s Last Run” and “Love at the Lumina Pavilion” are winners of the Lower Cape Fear Historical Society’s Short Story contests for 2005 – 2007. Two of my sci-fi stories “Smoking Bedpan” and “Selfers” have won Honorable Mention in the Writers of the Future Contest.
For a while I spent time writing “Conspiracy Thriller” material. I wrote “Deadly Research” about a young novelist researching a novel. When he connects the dots uncovering an international plot happening right under our noses, he is targeted. The story continues with “Research Triangle – Guns, Drugs, Children” focusing on psychotropic drugs in school and the resultant deadly violence that follows. I completed the series with “Terminal Research.”
I have moved on to create “Mars Quake”, “Fade to Black:The Trasaron Chronicles”, and the series "Adventures of a Space Bum” along with 3 short story anthologies – all in all 20 books and 13 novels.
