It’s that simple!

Here are just some of the ways you can use your books when they arrive:
So if you’ve recently published then you might be planning your book launch. The first thing on the list of necessities should be a big pile of books. This is where you’ll be showing off all your hard work and making your first sales!
Display them as attractively as possible. If your book has strong themes running throughout it then perhaps decorate the table accordingly – have fun!
The book launch should be the first of many events. Try getting into contact with local bookstores and very politely asking them if they would consider hosting something. Suggest ideas that could be of interest to their customers so that you’re making it worth their while.
You can do readings from your work, a book signing, a writers’ workshop, even a wordshare like the one CompletelyNovel recently helped host. Libraries also might be receptive, but if you’re stymied by the obvious venues, then get creative. Just make sure you’re displaying your books somewhere!
Always have a few stashed about your person at any book festivals or seminars you go to – you never know who you’ll meet or what chances might arise. If someone at these events seems willing to read your book then it’s worth the gamble of giving them a free copy.
A really good way to build buzz about your book is to have lots of people posting reviews of it (especially if they’re favourable).
These could be fellow authors or dedicated book bloggers. Ask them at events or send them a lovely email, and if they agree then give them a review copy. You may well have to do a blog swap: you review theirs if they review yours. This is one of the reasons why it’s a great idea for you to have an active blog!
Now’s the perfect moment to make sure you have a great store of your book! Order 50 copies before the end of May and you’ll get 5% off the price!
