I’ve been writing stories ever since I was a kid (of course, then, they were all about Star Wars…).

My latest book is ‘The Assassin’s Wedding’ – a “pacy, darkly humourous thriller”. (I’m not quoting anyone there, I just like enclosing random phrases with speechmarks. Yes, I am seeing a doctor about it).

I’m married and have three children, two of them twins. So our house is quiet for exactly three hours out of every twenty-four (that’s not three straight hours, that’s just the accumulation of all the bits where people stop to take a breath).
