The new book is now available on CompletelyNovel as an e book or Amazon as a Kindle. The paperback is available on CN too obviously and Amazon will follow in due course. Looking at the many negative comments going around the Leeds fans' forums at the moment I am not sure my title is very appropriate! There might have been some light at the end of the tunnel a few weeks ago but it appears someone has now switched it off!!!!Let's hope that once Warnock gets back off his holidays something starts to happen - otherwise I am going to dig out my boots and get off up to Thorpe Arch! Let me know what you think of the book if you read it, I believe it is a step up from the last one in terms of interest although there was of course plenty of material to go at throughout the season.
Best wishes

It is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. When people like yourself tell me they have enjoyed something I have written it makes all the hard work really worthwhile. It is so easy to get a book professionally produced at little cost these days that everyone can do it. A warning though, it can take over your life!
I am hoping to complete the manuscript next week after saturday's game with Leicester. Thenit is a matter of how long my various proof readers take to get through it. With a fair wind i would like to think it will be available, certainly on CN at least, by the end of May. So, go on, get your own done! (more)

Really been impressed and I'm thinking of putting down my memories in book form. I consider your book gave me the inspiration to do something I've ways wanted to do.

It has been a funny end to the season, probably dictated by the circumstances. Warnock reckons he has told those he doesnt want next season so it must be very difficult for them to give everything in that situation. I have recently done a bit of research into the emotions of watching sport and we should remember that when we do ultimately get promoted, it will be all the more sweet because of all of the negative emotions we suffered along the way! If you are ever in the Pavilion at Leeds, be sure to seek me out. Best wishes, DLW (more)

I cannot believe the players have given up, it's unfair on the 20,000 fans who turn up through thick and thin. Being a supporter of our once great club is not really good for your health or your wealth. But as ever On On On

Glad you are enjoying LUIPOTP - it started out as a bit of fun to keep me occupied as I was retiring but it has somewhat taken me by surprise as to how relatively successful it has been. The original intention was to document the return to the Premiership (obviously) but then when we missed out last year I was hooked on writing. So, yes, episode 2 is on the go and I hope to publish on here around the end of May. For the 2011/2012 season my son Mark and I had season tickets as I can now make it to all the games without upsetting my employers! I am on track to have done all 50 competitive games - 3 more if by some miracle we reached the play-offs. The provisional title of the new book is "Leeds United - Light at the end of the Tunnel" and I am already very proud of it as it covers what has been a tumultuous season with the Gary Speed death, Howson transfer, grayson sacking, Rachubka debacle, Warnock appointment, Bates out campaign, etc etc.
Very best wishes
