I love books. My favourite ones are the ones where multiple plots simmer for a while so you hardly even notice, then suddenly converge in an explosive climatic finish that totally blows your mind! And I love the ones that give you an insight into someone’s life from a totally different background from you – that you would probably never meet in real life: the ones that teach you about the way people can be, the way cultures and societies differ, challenge the way you think about yourself and others – books that open your mind basically.

I would love to be able to write a book and have so much respect for people that do – I genuinely think a good book, read at the right time can change your life.
Most of my book reading at the moment is done on the bus/tube/train – you can always tell a good book when you miss your stop!
