I’ve had a really unproductive year writing-wise but I’ve read a couple of interesting books, namely relative old-timers like ‘The Unbearable Lightness of Being’, ‘100 Years of Solitude’ and ‘The Master and Margharita’. This was after a phase of only feeling able to tackle contemporary Scottish stuff, mostly the products of MLitt courses (some books much better than others!).

I’m hoping to find some good reads on here.
