For scenery I would recommend going for some drives up/down the coast in a convertible, highway 1 all the way. If you you like hiking, go over the Golden Gate taking a walk around the Marin Hill.s and finish your day in Sausalito. In the city you should definitely check out the Golden Gate Park, on Thursdays they have events at the museum. We enjoyed a drink at Bourbon and Branch, a prohibition bar. It is a bit wanky as you have to go onto their website and get a password to go in but the cocktails and atmosphere make up for it. Then I would check out one of the many street fairs, on pretty much every weekend. We didn't do the Alcatraz trip but were told we have to many times. If you are travelling around the area and can make it to Yosemite or Lake Tahoe they are well worth the visit - stunning places. Great to hear everything is going well. Oli (more)

I have gone back to me new machine and tried again and...Anna, I am completely at a loss with this. I have gone back to me new machine and tried again and it is still doing it! I can drag the page down to any page number, but when I release the key the pages just scroll back up to the 1st page! Wierd! It also looks like the photos are in black and white whereas on the other laptop they clearly show in colour. It must be some setting on this new laptop I guess! I am using Google Chrome as a browser and then google search and then into CN. The laptop is a Windows 7 OS. Assuming it is just my machine then it is obviously not a major problem but any insight you can give would be helpful - no rush though. (more)

When I click the read online button and the book (either of them) appears, if I try to click the right arrow to move down a page, the page scrolls down but then immediately flicks back to page 1! Now this may be a quirk of my new computer (I burnt the MoBo on my old one the other day!) but I would like someone to check that it isnt a new bug at the CN end. Also, I noticed that the sales value showing against the new book does not tie into book sales royalties showing on the main royalties page. I wonder if that is due to my cock up when I deleted that book in error? Other than those possible glitches the books continue to sell well and i am really pleased.. (more)

The whole process this year has been much more straight forward and despite a few daft things I have done along the way, it has gone really well. Please pass on my thanks to Anna and Georgina who have both been sorting me out along the way. The first book has recently passed 250 sales (including Kindle sales) and is still selling and I am absolutely over the moon with that. Here's hoping the new book is even more successful.
