Authors have now been chosen to launch their books simultaneously at one, highly-publicised event in London on June 3rd, 2015. This event showcases titles from writers publishing traditionally and independently, and will celebrate great books from emerging authors writing on the theme of Inspiring People and Places.
On this page, find out more about the event and how you can get involved.
Hundreds of thousands of books are published every year, and for the indie author or small press, it is becoming increasingly hard to get your book noticed over the masses.
So how can we ensure that good books get the attention they deserve?
At CompletelyNovel, we’re always looking for ways to provide our authors with further opportunities. Last year, we launched One Big Book Launch – an event that harnesses the power of collaboration and enables emerging authors to get the attention they deserve. The launch was a huge success and we have been inundated with calls to host another launch in 2015.
Together, we can give your book the launch it deserves and kick-start your marketing in style – however you’re published.
Whether you are a reader, writer, book blogger, member of the press or industry professional – tickets for the One Big Book Launch 2015 are free of charge and can be reserved via the Free Word Centre, here.
Join us and hundreds of guests from 6pm at the Free Word Centre in Farringdon on 3rd June 2015, for the most exciting event in the literature calendar. Soak up the festival atmosphere with a glass of wine, chat to the winning authors and buy signed, new releases from the newest names in literature, mingle with avid readers and listen to extracts from the ten winning books.
Tickets are limited to 200 guests and are guaranteed to sell out fast. Reserve your free ticket here. We look forward to celebrating with you!
We were inundated with submissions from fantastic authors publishing both traditionally and independently, and are so pleased to announce the ten authors chosen to take part in the launch on June 3rd.

“One Big Book Launch was inspiring. It was moving to hear authors themselves reading through their own work. I was slightly in awe of the way each author took something so close to their heart; and read it to a room full of strangers – seeing their reaction to the final version. I’d like to go to more events like #OBBL.” – Laura Summers, BookMachine
Had an absolutely fab time at last night's #OBBL! Thanks to
