I’m not sure about that either, actually. With non-fiction, the manuscript is delivered and then edited; typos and other mistakes are picked up and corrected, and certain passages, which may be unclear, are queried and clarification requested, if necessary. I’m guessing that it’s the same with fiction, since this is my first experience of having fiction accepted by a publisher.

No problem Alan, credit where credit is due I think. Will they want to change anything or are they happy with it as it is?

Hi Bryony. Many thanks for your kind words, and for adding the book to your library. I’m actually not certain about the book’s presence on CN. I’m guessing that I will be asked to take it down soon, or just to have an excerpt. Will let you know.

The indication of the message from Oli suggests that you have had a publisher take on ‘The Martian Ambassador’. In that case I would love to offer you my congratulations also. I will add this to my library while it is still live and give Sci/Fi a go, I certainly enjoyed the last book I read from you (The Lighthouse Keeper). Does the publisher still plan to have the book (or a portion of it) on CN?
