    Hi folks,

    There seems to be a problem with the database. When I went to order some copies of my book ’The Reluctant Detective" it did not appear in a search or on my profile page. I had to go to previous orders to allow me to place a new order.

    I would appreciate it if you could have a look.

      Hi Sinclair,

      I’ve taken a look at the issue. It seems it was more to do with how the books were set up.

      On completelynovel we have the concept of books and editions. Each book can have many editions.

      In the site search we only list the ‘display edition’, which can be set using the ‘move’ link on the editions page.

      The problem was that your books were listed as editions of another book. As they were treated like editions they didn’t show in the search index.

      I have taken the liberty of organising them now so if you search for your books now you should see them in the results.
