Hi everybody

my book, “Cassandra in the Mirror” has been available (and selling!) on Amazon for a number of weeks now.
However, when I looked at my portfolio today I note that the “Submitted for distribution”, “Approved by distributors” and “Ready for ISBN database” buttons are still unchecked. Is it going to take long before the whole process is completed? Could you please give me a rough idea of how long this is going to require (it’s already been over six weeks).

I am based in Ireland. Friends and acquaintances have approached bookstores here to buy a copy of my novel but the book is not listed in their catalogues yet. Could you please also let me know if Lightning Source distributes in Ireland?

Hi Piera,

Thanks for your message. Yep…there was a small glitch in the system which meant that the light wasn’t checked for some people when their book became approved by distributors. The good news is that it is all fine in terms of being in the distributor catalogues.
On your second point, the difficulty with distribution in Ireland is that the book needs to be bought in Euros and shipped there. This can sometimes make it difficult for places to order/stock it. The book will be available on Amazon so the best solution may be for your Irish readers to buy it from there.
