Ah, only just found this post. Best put stuff like this in the CompletelyNovel discussion club.
Basically you’ve got to add the book to a discussion when you start it. There is a tool on the right hand side of the start discussion screen to add books. When you add the book and start the discussion then the book will be added to the book profile.
The whole site is still in beta so some areas need some polishing. This is an area of the site we’re going to upgrade pretty shortly though.
