    Hello,

I’m almost ready to launch my first book, it’s very exciting.
I have an artist friend of mine designing the book cover.

Is there anyway to see/use this tool prior to uplaoding my manuscript?
Alternativley can I upload a doc just to view the cover editor and then replace it with the actual book?

    Cheers

      Hi Daniel,

A manuscript needs to be uploaded before designing the cover as the number of pages changes the width of the spine.

If you want to get the dimensions of the cover you can upload the manuscript you have at the moment so we can work out the spine width.

An updated manuscript can be uploaded later and the cover will be roughly accurate provided it doesn’t have a wildly different number of pages.

Let me know how you get on or if you need any help,

      Oli

      Thanks Oliver, one more question.

How often can I change the cover or is that plan dependant?

      Cheers

    • The cover can be changed by using the cover creator or uploading a PDF. I would recommend using the cover creator though as it take a lot of the complexity out of the process.

To start a new cover creator cover you can choose ‘choose template’ which will create a new one from the chosen template.
