Hi
I’ve been trying to use the cover creator for the past two weeks with no luck.
First I was trying to access the cover which I had already created on it – and which I liked – but I couldn’t see it in the editor (I wanted to enlarge the words of the title). It had disappeared.
Then I uploaded a PDF version of the same (which I had saved on my PC), but it looked different (the colours were much darker)
Now I’ve been trying for the past week to make a new cover, but the cover creator seems to get stuck once I try to save the back page … and now all I’m getting is the message:
“Cover is queued for generation” … and I can’t even try to use the cover creator again.
My intention is to publish my book on 2 April and I wonder if the issue is going to be resolved by then.
Thanks for your answer
Piera
Hi Piera,
Thanks for letting me know about this and sorry for the inconvenience of it. The cover generator had a slight tantrum after an update and unfortunately your cover was caught in the problem.
Good news is it is fixed now and I’ve run your cover through. If you need me to do anything else then please let me know and I’ll do my best to help out.
All the best,
Oli
Thanks Oli
I can see the old cover now but I would like to change it and create a new one.
I don’t seem to be able to save a new cover when I try to do that; the programme gets stuck on the back page ….
can you look into that please
Thanks!
Piera :)
Hi again.
To create a new cover you can use this link:

This will let you select a new cover template and start a new cover.
unfortunately the programme still gets stuck when I try to insert a background picture on the back page … has anyone else encountered this problem?
yes I am stuck too now – let me know if I can work around it in any way Oli
Hi – I made a couple of changes to my cover yesterday, after receipt of my proof copy of the book. But the document has disappeared today… is it only temporarily so? I guess so but I’d like to make sure (as my intention is to put the novel on sale next week, at last)
Many thanks as always
Piera :)
