When I build my back cover I get an error message on loading (Error 2036). However, once i have acknowledged the error cover creator tells me I have successfully created a cover but I can’t download the cover pdf. Has anybody else had this problem or is it all down to my incompetence?

I also have a problem with my cover which I had created I few weeks back. When I try to access it now for some minor editing, it doesn’t show on the cover editor … I hope this is going to be fixed soon
Hi Peira,

Your cover looks fine. If you are having trouble downloading the cover it may be due to how your web browser (internet explorer/firefox/chrome) handles downloads.

Try this:
- Go to your cover page in the book creator
- right click on the download cover pdf button
- In the drop down look for a link which says something like ‘save target as’ or ‘save link as’ and click that
- Select where to save your cover to, the desktop might be a sensible place.
- Open the PDF using an application like adobe acrobat reader

Hi David,

I’ve taken a look at your cover. It failed to generate for the same reason as in this discussion. So I have regenerated your cover so you shouldn’t have any problems now.

Thanks very much. I’m not quite sure what might have changed between this book and the previous two but clearly something did.
