Sorry about the cheap pun folks but couldn’t resist! Publisher Wiley Blackwell are calling on Charles Dickens’ enthusiasts to submit a short video on the topic of what Dickens means to them as part of the celebrations to mark the bicentenary of Dickens’ birth.

Can’t send in a video, haven’t got a webcam. I find Dickens’ work a great source of information for my my own writings as I write books mainly set in the Victorian era.

Looking on their website, they would accept a (imaginative) PowerPoint presentation with a soundtrack so you could give it a go if you haven’t got asccess to a camera. Great to hear Dickens has inspired you and hope you find the conference interesting in March!
