Hi, is there anyway to edit the content of my novel once it has been uploaded? I’ve been looking but can’t find the option to change the book blurb and the synopsis. Is it possible to do this without losing the ratings already received?

Hi Michael,
There is indeed. You need to go to your projects (My Home > Projects). Then click ‘edit’ on the project you want to edit.
Go through the steps and change the stuff you want to remembering to click the large save button at the bottom of the page on each thing you change. When you get to the last tab you can re-publish it.
If you change basic stuff like the title, blurb etc you can jump straight to the publish stage after you save the page you edit. If you do more advanced stuff like upload a new manuscript you might have to go into the cover creator to check the styling as the spine width may have changed.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you come across any trouble.

- Oliver 22 Jan 15:03Oli I had a premonition that the answer you were going to give me was going to be really simple. Trust me to make things more complicated than they need be. Thanks for the info
- XX 22 Jan 16:32No worries. If you couldn’t find the way it means that there are a lot more people who couldn’t. Every question like that is really important, we want the site to be as accessible as possible to everyone. If you have any suggestions for improvement they would be really handy too!
Cheers bud.
Oli
I guess what I was mostly worried about was accidentally deleting my stuff due to my own carelessness, but i see now that it’s quite difficult to do something like that.
Maybe there could be an ‘edit’ option displayed on the thumbnail image of my ‘published work’ when i’m on my homepage.
