If you have already POD’d on another site, eg: Lulu, and they are listed on Amazon and online bookstores, can you publish same works on CN?

      Hi Linda!

I’m one of the CN team – sorry for the delay in answering your question. Yes – you can publish on CN if you have made your book available elsewhere. We don’t require that you use us exclusively. Just let me know if you have any other questions.
      All the best,

      Anna

      Hi Linda and Anna

You beat me to it, Anna! Probably just as well, since I didn’t know the answer. Mind you, what about ISBN numbers? If your book is available on Amazon, and already has a number, do you need another one to publish through CN?

Thank you Alan,Anna, for your replies. Yes, Alan,I had forgotten about the ISBN number. I suppose I was thinking of printing a second edition, with a new cover, solely to be available for sale from this site and also from my book site. Which means of course that the price for books on sale at Amazon, through Lulu, would have to have the same prize struture all round. I’d like any readers thoughts or ideas on this please. Do you think it would work?

I’m not entirely sure Linda. It would mean you would be competing with yourself in different places but on the other side of the equation there would be more exposure for your work. Really up to you and what your ultimate aims are, to sell more copies or get the work noticed more.

    • Thanks for your reply Byrony. I think that would be the aim, to get more exposure – and hopefully more sales, lol. It’s something I’ll have to give some more thought to.

I think that it’s a good idea to try and maximise your exposure – the more people that see or hear of your book the better. Plus it lets you experiment with different options and hopefully use that experience to keep improving on your book.Best of luck with it all!
