I didn’t make the shortlist – but best of luck to those who did. Good luck and have fun!
Jane Alexander has been published many times as a non-fiction author. Other bloggers on the list – Tim Atkinson, Alice Griffin and Linda Jones are all also published authors. Linda is the author of a well-received book on freelance writing and her blog includes writers’ tips.
Well done to everyone who made the shortlist – there were a lot of entries and we were really pleased to see such a variety too! What I particularly like about hte shortlist is that it feels like the web levels the playing field -there’s a chance for all authors to make their mark, not just the superstars! It also makes it more likely that readers can discover new blogs and new authors that they might not otherwise have come across.
Hi Jane-May,
We’ll be having more awards in the future so hopefully better luck then!
And though your blog didn’t make the shortlist this time, you did do really well so you should be really pleased!
Thrilled that Scribble City Central and I are on the shortlist with so many literary luminaries. I’ve had a lot of fun making new discoveries.
I’m hugely chuffed to be on the list – couldn’t believe it when I read it. Massive thanks to everyone who nominated me. I started my blog purely for fun and have made tons of new friends through it. I also really opened up the world of social media to me.
Good luck to all the bloggers on the shortlist… can see I’ve got a new bunch of great blogs to read. :)
