The “Completely Novel” section for books is very good, but perhaps the next step could be the inclusion of a more interactive service, such as a reading group, or an area to share ideas on a specific passage/chapter, as the lists and reviews facilities already in place tend to be slightly isolated. Just a thought.

Hmm just realised that this seems to be the type of thing going on in The Chapter Chapter club – maybe there could be stronger links between members in the “what I’m reading at the moment” section of the library – just to free up discussion amongst members about what they’re reading at the moment (i.e. there needn’t be a particular book that all members read in a specific week, just discussion between who happens to be readng the same book as you at the same time).

      Hi Chloe,
What we can do is make it clear what each user is reading at the moment on their profile. We can also add a section to the book page of people reading that particular book at that point in time.
Perhaps as part of the ‘I am reading’ section in peoples ‘My Home’ we can also suggest some clubs for them based on the books they are reading at the moment?
      Cheers
