Aware of my interest in books set in (or under!) London, a couple of CN users recommended Neil Gaiman’s Neverwhere to me. Having recently enjoyed that novel, I’ve been looking out for a good companion work, and Finn’s Underlife sounds like the ideal choice. Thanks very much for the recommendation, Anna and George!
You’re welcome – and I still haven’t read Neverwhere so I will have to take a look at that too!
Loved the bits of the Underground interspersed with the dialogue – your Rapid Reviews are tremendously entertaining and informative too!
Got a few funny looks on the underground when recording this Rapid Review. It was going to be more dramatic but I wasn’t sure if the commuters could handle it (they already loked quite stressed!) It is a great book – I’d thoroughly recommend checking it out and if you like it, going on to read Adept, the next in the series.
