I’ve just recently completed a Masters in Global Politics so I don’t think I could quite justify doing another one! However, I do think that when you immerse yourself in a course at Uni, particularly a Masters, you really start to get to know your subject. It’s about being able to focus on that which so often gets pushed to the side when you are doing your daily job.
Oh, I don’t know. I’m currently toying with the idea of doing an MA in Social Anthropology, just for the sake of it! You can never have too many.
Never mind trying to explain an academic degree in creative writing. I’m still plagued by older members of my family asking me what I’m going to do with an English degree. My favourite suggestion was, “have you thought about becoming a newsreader?!”
I’m sure you’d be a great newsreader Chloe! It’s all a lot simpler when you do a Law degree…until you end up working on a publishing/web business!
