The problem is the pace and reconciling the two subjects. It starts at a fair pace and I have slowed down the pace in the 3rd and 4th Chapters to accommodate the Romantic element which starts in Chapter 5. The next few Chapters are at a slow pace with pockets of intrigue and questions to keep the readers attention. Then the pace hottens up again and the Chapters 12 onwards bound along at a reasonable pace. That was the intention but I am beginning to doubt the continuation theory. Is this idea a stupid one to begin with?? (more)
