This is an Anthology of 4 stories that seemed to unravel from a load of notes and pictures written on serviettes. It’s mostly a disjointed set containing themes of water and some odd but kindly central characters.
Themes: LOVE, WAR, RAMPANT CANNON-FIRING COWS, WATER (LOTS)
Though haphazard, it is tied together magically by Cally’s illustrations (check out pg 48/ 49) and the hope that sometimes you can read a story and feel quite unreal.
This is mine and Cally’s first book in print. I am working on several other stories, some kids books and a novel anchored much more in reality! (shame really)
T’was so much fun!
Thanks must go to Rebecca for reading; our Mums; Tim and Alice for encouraging/distracting/feeding Cally at all the right times; BUT MOST OF ALL: thanks to that fish you had when you were seven that died and someone replaced it while you were at school
To THAT fish
