Books: Train in the Night & Other Stories

What has a boy with leukemia got to do with an oil rig fire? What’s the connection between an aged boxer and a wild gypsy boy? What has a Spanish love affair got to do with an unexpected death on a mini-digger? It can only be a collection of entertaining short stories from a collection of new writers who entered the Guildford Book Festival Short Story competition. This anthology contains the winning entry, Train in the Night, which was also made into a multimedia iPhone app, as well as twelve worthy short listed entries. It’s collated by the competition sponsor, author and author’s mentor, Tom Evans.
