Hi everyone, Some orders have been delayed recently – a side effect of the volume going through at this time of year. I’ve been chasing every order this morning checking it’s status. As of yesterday all the delayed orders were marked as in production. New orders are also running through on time again. Production takes a day which means all pending orders should be sent out today or tomorrow. You will receive a notification as per usual when they are dispatched. I’m keeping an eye on things and will post updates as things develop. All the best, Oli

Why not publish a special edition of your novel or poetry to share with family and friends for this Christmas, give a friend your non-fiction guide to life or put those family memoirs that you’ve been meaning to share in print?

Diaries, notebooks, musings and memoirs – a lot of us have collections of writings of our own or passed on to us which, for the most part, sit in a box in the attic under piles of papers and only get noticed during clean-outs or when moving house. “I must do something with that – it’s such a shame to keep it up there gathering dust”, we say, but we’re not quite sure what exactly it is that we should do…and so we promptly forget about it for another few years. Well, self-publishing may well be an easy and affordable way to turn those writings into a lasting memory to share with family, friends, your local community…whoever you like!

A lot of people talk about Twitter and plenty of people use it (over 200 million!), but for the uninitiated it might seem like just another time-wasting distraction from your writing that you probably don’t need. Well, it might be…(everything requires a degree of self-discipline!) but it can also be pretty useful for writers too. Here are some thoughts on why it might be worth a try and some ideas to help you get the most out of it.

When it comes to poetry, presentation is vitally important. As well as making the book look professional and preventing any distracting inconsistencies, careful and thought-out presentation also helps to compliment the work itself. Furthermore, with poetry books, as with all published works that you plan to sell, some work and thought needs to go into making them as marketable as possible and ensuring they reach their audience. So here are our top 5 tips for self publishing poetry…..
