Anna and George from CompletelyNovel.com rapidly review Robert Finn’s Underlife. This suspense-filled prequel to Adept is a novella set on the London Underground. Our main character, the anti-hero ‘Clipper’ finds himself in the middle of a mysterious criminal underworld. With a bit of a love interest and a lot of action thrown in there’s plenty to keep you entertained.
Going ‘beyond the book’, Anna and George offer some tips to starting out in organized crime.
The whole of ‘Underlife’ is available to read on the Snowbooks website under a Creative Commons licence.

You’re welcome – and I still haven’t read Neverwhere so I will have to take a look at that too!
Loved the bits of the Underground interspersed with the dialogue – your Rapid Reviews are tremendously entertaining and informative too!
Got a few funny looks on the underground when recording this Rapid Review. It was going to be more dramatic but I wasn’t sure if the commuters could handle it (they already loked quite stressed!) It is a great book – I’d thoroughly recommend checking it out and if you like it, going on to read Adept, the next in the series.
